Anchorpile system for construction of bridge and structure showing building on screw piles

These 6 photos show a screw pile project completed by Anchorpile during Nov/Dec 2010. The screw piles were used in the construction of a concrete footbridge at Strathalbyn.

Screw piles were used for numerous reasons, namely: site was sloping & very difficult; it is adjacent to water and there was also a risk of collapsing soil.

Project undertaken early 2010, in Eastern Suburbs SA showing use of Anchorpile system for construction of bridge and also small building structure in garden setting. Restricted access, the need to sit lightly in the landscape, the presence of significant trees, were all features of this project. Note also the use of specially constructed brackets between piles and building, ideal for those structures where an alternative to the concrete slab is appropriate.

Screw piles used to shore up a swimming pool

These photos show not only the use of screw piles which are very appropriate for this type of support structure –they also depict a quite difficult site where access to the location where the piles for shoring are needed is quite restricted – (in fact equipment needed to be able to come through the garage!)

Screw piles used in the construction of a platform on the River Torrens, SA

These photos also depict the challenges of a water environment where again the experience of the owner and Director of Anchorpile in the construction of footings and foundations for many wetland projects, means these kinds of landscape and light commercial projects are undertaken very efficiently.
