A screw pile and void former foundation for a new home, Mt Barker, SA

This series of photos shows the construction of the foundation on a filled site, where there is also water in close proximity to the construction site. The owner and client of this foundation said that Anchorpile ‘saved him around $8K.’

A screw pile and void former foundation for a new home at Marion, SA

The use of screw piles and void formers for this project was relevant as the site had both reactive soil, and there was (and still is, we assume!) a large eucalypt close by hence the need to not impact on its root system.

A screw pile and void former foundation for a new home at Kingston Park, SA

This was a complex project, on a difficult site, where the project commenced with the design and complete construction of a major retaining wall also entailing the use of screw piles. Upon completion of the retaining wall that also needed to be tanked and waterproofed, screw piles were also used to support a new sewer trench prior to the construction of the screw pile void former slab foundation for the new home. This was also a split level site.

A screw pile and void former foundation for a granny flat, Crafers West, SA

This project and the accompanying two photos are testament to the skills of the Anchorpile team in managing within a very restricted access site – the foundation for the granny flat is very close to both an existing dwelling as well as close to dense garden. It was also on a sloping site.
